A Couple Photoshoot with a Secret Plan

We photographed this surprise proposal at Ash Cave in Hocking Hills, Ohio.

The couple traveled from Kentucky for a relaxing getaway, and according to the plan, this was supposed to be just a normal couple photoshoot.

We had already coordinated everything in advance so the surprise would stay completely secret.

We started the session naturally, photographing them together around Ash Cave and letting the shoot feel like a regular romantic couple session.

The Moment We Had Been Waiting For

Once we found the right moment, we asked them to stand back-to-back for a photo.

While she was facing away, he quietly got down on one knee.

When she turned around, she realized what was happening.

He asked her to marry him.

She said YES.
