Starting the Day at Inniswood Metro Gardens
We started the day with the couple’s first look at Inniswood Metro Gardens.
Surrounded by greenery and beautiful garden scenery, this part of the day was calm and intimate. It gave the couple a chance to see each other before the celebration began and gave us time to capture their portraits in a relaxed environment.
There was something beautiful about starting such an energetic wedding day with these quiet moments together.
From the Garden to the Celebration
After the first look and portraits, we headed to the reception.
And the atmosphere changed completely.
The quiet garden was replaced by Arabic drums, loud music, dancing, and an incredible amount of energy.
The reception was already alive when the celebration began, with family and friends coming together to celebrate the couple.
Traditional Iraqi Dancing
One of the most memorable parts of the evening was a performance of a traditional Iraqi folk dance.
The dancers brought incredible energy to the room, performing their traditional dance while the music and drums filled the space.
For us as photographers, moments like this are especially exciting because there is so much movement and emotion happening at once.
The dancers, the guests, the music, and the reactions from the family all became part of the story.
A Celebration Full of Energy
The rest of the evening was filled with dancing, music, laughter, and moments between family and friends.
Arabic weddings have such a unique energy. The celebration isn’t just about the couple — it feels like the entire family is part of the experience.

The evening continued with dramatic smoke effects, music, and the couple’s first dance.
The smoke created a completely different atmosphere for the photographs, giving their first dance a more dramatic and cinematic feeling.
After everything that had happened throughout the day, it was a beautiful moment for the couple to slow down and simply enjoy being together.
